Troy Mobile Lunch Program Launches Tuesday June 27th.

ALBANY, NY (06/26/2017) (readMedia)-- Starting a new mobil lunch program in Troy NY for the summer of 2017 47 days of summer lunches delivered to targeted area's of the city. With two city pools closing and their feeding sites children will be displaced this summer and Victory Church of Albany will use their City Kids Smoothie truck as a food truck for this summer in Troy. The church will also feed children in Albany for the summer. The lunches will be made at the JC Club located at 63 Quail St. Albany teens from Life song special needs children program will help make the lunches.

Over 300 pools will be given away to families who relied on the pool to help keep their children cool and busy for the summer.

This first week a route will be formed in Troy where the most children and the greatest needs will be met.

When: Tuesday June 27th. volunteers will meet at 63 quail to make the lunches then the truck will depart for Troy at 11:00 A.M.

Where: The truck will go to South Troy first then to North Troy.

Victory Christian Church has been feeding at risk children for the last 20 years and is very familiar with all the in's and out's of summer
