Media Advisory: Foreclosure Prevention Forum in Buffalo

NEW YORK, NY (05/05/2008)(readMedia)-- Richard H. Neiman, Superintendent of Banks for New York, joins Senator Antoine M. Thompson and the Western New York State Senators for the sixth Operation: Protect Your Home foreclosure prevention forum in Buffalo, New York.

The forum provides the opportunity for Buffalo homeowners at risk of foreclosure and mortgage servicers to come together to find sustainable solutions to their mortgage issues. At the workshops, mortgage lenders and counselors will work with individual homeowners on identifying potential ways of preventing unnecessary foreclosures. The meetings are free and open to the public. Invited borrowers whose mortgages are scheduled to reset or borrowers who are already late in their mortgage payments will have priority.
