WHAT: Family Support Services Annual Conference

WHEN: Thursday, September 18, and Friday, September 19, 2008

WHERE: Marriott, Wolf, Road, Albany, N.Y.

TIME: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day

OMRDD's Family Support Services (FSS) program supports 42,000 families in New York State. The conference, held once every two years, provides family members and advocates information on issues affecting families on the state and local level such as Autism, and self-determination or self-directed supports and services.

Please note: OMRDD Commissioner Diana Jones Ritter is scheduled to speak to the group about major OMRDD initiatives at lunch and at dinner on September 17. Arrangements can be made to view her remarks.
