Media Credentialing Information: Lake Champlain Bridge Demolition
CROWN POINT, NY (12/18/2009)(readMedia)-- Due to space limitations and safety issues that make it necessary to designate an area from which media can view and record the demolition of the Lake Champlain Bridge, ALL media must pre-register to attend. Once on site, pre-registered news media must present a valid photo ID to pick up their press identification. There will be no on site media registration.
Media accreditation is reserved for working members of the media only. This includes editors, reporters, producers, camera crews and still photographers. News media registrants must be working or on assignment for regularly distributed broadcast, print or radio media, industry-related news publications, or related online news sites, and must submit verification of their press credentials. Security will be on site, and check-in and credentialing is imperative.
No firm date has been set for demolition. It is expected that demolition may occur on Wednesday, December 23, at 10 a.m., dependent upon receipt of all required permits.
