Medical Students Run NYC Marathon to Support Parkinson's Disease Treatment

Two medical students ran this year's New York City Marathon and raised $100 for Parkinson's disease treatment for each of the 26.2 miles ran.

Through crowdfunding, NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) students Samantha Gottlieb and Lauren Granat not only met their goal of $2,620, they exceeded it with a total of 74 donations following the race.
