Meinhold Earns Master's Degree from Coker College
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - (01/02/2014)(readMedia)-- Ricky Meinhold recently earned a master's degree in college athletic administration from Coker College. Meinhold was part of six individuals that made up the first class to receive a graduate degree from the institution.
Meinhold is a native of Campbell, Calif., and resides in Hartsville, S.C. He is the assistant athletic director for facilities and game administration at Coker. Prior to his current position, he served as assistant baseball coach at Coker from 2011-13. Meinhold earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise sport science from Drury University.
Beginning in May 2012, the Master of Science in college athletic administration became the first graduate program offered at Coker College. It is an 18-month, online-based program. The program balances theory with real-world experience and provides students with a strong foundation of knowledge in areas such as NCAA compliance regulations, sport communication, sport law, recruiting of coaches and athletes, fundraising, sport business management and sport marketing.
