Melina Constantine Miseo Wins Student Life Award at Western New England University

SPRINGFIELD, MA (05/30/2013)(readMedia)-- Melina Constantine Miseo of Commack, NY, received the Richard M. DiRuzza Student Life Award during the Cocurricular Awards ceremony at Western New England University. Constantine Miseo is a junior majoring in Sociology.

The DiRuzza Student Life Award is given in recognition of volunteer service to the University and to a student who has had a direct impact on improving the quality of student life. The award is named in honor of former Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Richard M. DiRuzza, who devoted 18 years of service to Western New England. The naming recognizes DiRuzza's support of underclassmen by helping them to become more engaged and involved in the University.

Western New England University is a private, independent, coeducational institution founded in 1919. Located on an attractive 215-acre suburban campus in Springfield, Massachusetts, Western New England University serves 3,800 students, including 2,500 full-time undergraduate students.
