Memorial Day Tribute to Kathina Thomas

ALBANY, NY (05/27/2010)(readMedia)-- As the 2nd Anniversary of the tragic shooting of Kathina Thomas on 1st Street in Albany, NY approaches, Shondell McCallister, along with Pastor Charlie Muller, will hold a tribute to her in Arbor and West HIll to give children in those communities a message of hope and antiviolence.

Pastor Charlie Muller, in partnership with District Attorney David Soares of Albany, is initiating a strategic plan for the summer of 2010, "Taking it to the Streets" - taking back our neighborhoods.

This Memorial Day event will be the first of six scheduled events in the City of Albany this Summer. The event will encompass the entire Livingston Park with fun for the entire family. Pastor Charlie will be in partnership with the City Recreation Department and Police Department to make this event a safe, city-wide effort.

The event will be from 12:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, May 29th at the corner of N. Lake and Livingston Avenue.
