MACON, GA (06/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Mercer University recently honored graduating senior Leslie Sixten Hidling, of Columbus, at the 2011 Honors Convocation. Hidling received the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Student of the Year award. Hidling graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Mercer's College of Liberal Arts on May 14.

Hidling is the daughter of Lennart and Lien Hidling of Columbus.
