MACON, GA (06/07/2012)(readMedia)-- Mercer University honored Vanessa Breslin of Deer Lake, Pa., at the University's 2012 Honors Convocation. Breslin received the 2012 Merck Award. She graduated from Mercer's College of Liberal Arts with a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in chemistry on May 12.

Breslin is the daughter of Dave and Sandy Breslin.
