Merle Stoltzfus elected treasurer to LETU Board of Trustees
LONGVIEW, TX (12/02/2010)(readMedia)-- Merle Stoltzfus was recently elected tresurer to the LeTourneau University Board of Trustees. Stoltzfus is a general partner for Stoltzfus Enterprises, Ltd., a custom home builder and real estate developer. He has served in revitalization efforts and transportation advisory committees in his hometown area of Elverson, Penn. He graduated from LETU in 1971 with a degree in electrical engineering technology and has served on the LETU board since 1997, serving previously as chair and as treasurer. One of his daughters is a 2008 graduate and another is currently enrolled at LETU.
LeTourneau University is an interdenominational Christian university located in Longview, Texas, offering academic majors in aeronautical science, business, education, engineering, health care, the humanities and sciences. LeTourneau University also offers graduate and undergraduate degree programs for working adults online and at educational centers in Austin, Bedford, Dallas, Houston and Tyler.
