AUGUSTA, NJ (04/22/2010)(readMedia)-- For more than twenty years, fans of Michael Arnone's Crawfish Fest have celebrated the sounds and taste of New Orleans by attending his Crawfish Fest. For the 21st year, Arnone is hosting the Annual Crawfish Fest on Friday June 4 (campers only), Saturday, June 5 and Sunday, June 6 at the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta, NJ. Gates open at 10:30 AM.

The campgrounds open at 10:00 a.m. for campers on Friday June 4 and from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5. Friday evening entertainment for the Campers and King Crawfish Krewe on the Jaeger Pavilion Stage features Grammy Winner Terrance Simien and The Zydeco Experience, The Redstick Ramblers, Honey Island Swamp Band, Jeffery Broussard and The Creole Cowboys along with Paul Sanchez & the Rolling Road Show.

Entertainment editors and visitors to the Crawfish Fest regard this event as the single most important Louisiana and New Orleans Style Music, Food and Camping festival north of the Mason Dixon line. The Crawfish Fest features a variety of authentic New Orleans fare including boiled crawfish with corn and potatoes, chicken & sausage jambalaya, grilled alligator sausage, Shrimp Creole, red beans & rice with pork sausage, catfish, crawfish, oyster, shrimp Couchon de Lait, hot sausage Po-Boys, crawfish pie, crawfish bread, Crawfish Ettoufee and raw oysters. Festival enthusiasts, who prefer a more traditional menu, may choose from grilled Portabella mushroom sandwiches, vegetarian Red Beans, burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, fruit cups, sno-balls, beignets and other desserts.

Four stages (three of which are under cover) will feature 24 Bands playing some of New Orleans and Louisiana's best Funk, New Orleans R&B, Delta Blues, Brass, Cajun and Zydeco. The Saturday lineup on the Main Stage includes two time Grammy® winner Taj Mahal, George Porter Jr. and The Runnin' Pardners, Honey Island Swamp Band (named Best Emerging Artist in 2009 by Offbeat Magazine), and Amanda Shaw and The Cute Guys. Shaw is a New Orleans-based singer, songwriter, fiddler and actress. At just 19, Shaw is a seasoned entertainer with an expansive audience across the southern US.

The Jager Pavilion Stage features The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, a.k.a. a world-famous music machine. The DDBB has performed with David Bowie, Elvis Costello, Dr. John and the Black Crowes. Mem Shannon & The Membership, Stanton Moore Trio with Anders Osborne and Paul Sanchez & the Rolling Road Show. At 12 Noon, dance lessons begin in the News 12 NJ Dance Hall, followed at 1:00 by Rose Ledet, Jeffrey Broussard and The Creole Cowboys and Red Stick Ramblers.

The Sunday lineup includes GALACTIC, Multi Grammy® Winner Marsha Ball, Railroad Earth (whose fans call themselves "Hobos") and the Campbell Brothers. Playing the Jager Pavilion Stage will be Kenny Neal, The Iguanas and Joanne Shaw Taylor. Children will be entertained at the Kids Stage by Polka Dot and Summer Rae McLaughlan.
