Michael Thomas receives Chancellor's Award at UW-Stout
MENOMONIE, WIS. (07/15/2013)(readMedia)-- Michael Thomas of Maple Lake, Minn., received the Chancellor's Award at University of Wisconsin-Stout for the fall semester of 2012.
Thomas is majoring in applied science with a concentration in biotechnology. He also is minoring in business administration and is enrolled in the predentistry, preproffesional program.
The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the UW System. The university has a long-standing reputation of serving business, industry, education and the helping professions through its specialized educational programs.
Enrollment the past year was 9,200.
