Michaela Lichvanova Receives Performing Arts Award

RIVER FOREST, IL (05/13/2011)(readMedia)-- Michaela Lichvanova, a resident of Elmhurst, has received the Ovation Award for Performing Arts from Dominican University. A recent graduate of Dominican University, Lichvanova received the award during the university's honors convocation on Sunday, May 1.

During her time at Dominican, Lichvanova performed in The Wiz, Lysistrata, and Macbeth. She also played the part of Little Red in Into the Woods, and served as the assistant stage manager in The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!).

Founded in 1901, Dominican University is a comprehensive, coeducational Catholic institution offering bachelor's degrees through the Rosary College of Arts and Sciences and master's degrees through the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Brennan School of Business, the School of Education, and the Graduate School of Social Work. The university also offers a doctoral degree in library and information science.
