MILTON , MA (11/08/2012)(readMedia)-- Curry College is pleased to announce that Middletown, CT resident Adriana Pritchard, daughter of Angie and David Pritchard, has been appointed General Manager of the Curry Theatre Student Supervisory Board. A 2010 graduate of Mercy High School and currently a college junior majoring in Psychology, Adriana has been working behind the scenes in Batboy, The Mousetrap, and Tartuffe. She also serves on the Curry Theatre Supervisory Board as Black Box Lighting Operator. But what keeps her, perhaps, busiest by far, is serving as Stage Manager for the Main Stage production of Alan Ayckbourn's Woman in Mind.
Knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 1997, Sir Alan Ayckbourn is the most widely produced playwright in England, second only to William Shakespeare. His darkly humorous Woman in Mind sees the action of the play through Susan's eyes, as her mundane reality collides with her active fantasy life. Is it a dream turned to nightmare, or a this witty and imaginative woman, driven to distraction by her pompous and self-absorbed husband, her adenoidal son, and dour, and disturbed sister-in-law? Between gasps and guffaws, audience members decide for themselves.
This wildly unpredictable comedy tumbles across the stage on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday; Dec 1st through 4th at 7:30 p.m. at Curry College, in the Oscar B. and Frances A. Keith Auditorium at the Academic and Performance Center on the Milton Campus, 1071 Blue Hill Avenue, Milton, MA. Tickets are $10 and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Option 2).
