Midlothian Native Erin Bartholomew Named to Spring 2013 Dean's List at Whittier College

WHITTER, CA (07/16/2013)(readMedia)-- Midlothian native Erin Bartholomew was named to the Spring 2013 Dean's List in recognition for her academic excellence. The Spanish major graduated from Whittier College in May with academic distinction in the major and received the Martin Ortiz Award for Academic Excellence in Spanish during the spring honors convocation.
In addition to excelling in the classroom, Bartholomew shone as a Poet athlete. The long-distance swimmer received several honors from the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) for her record setting performances in the pool.
Undergraduate students are awarded Dean's List honors if he or she earns a 3.70 grade point average (GPA) while completing a full-time course load (12 units) in the fall and spring terms.
