Mike Mostowi participates in Lock Haven University orientation

LOCK HAVEN, PA (06/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Lock Haven University is in the midst of its annual summer orientation for future freshman and their families. Each year, the university holds five consecutive two-day orientation sessions for new students. One of the new students is Hughesville resident Mike Mostowi.
Mike enjoyed getting a taste of the LHU campus. Mike commented, "Lock Haven University is a 'home away from home'."
Each of the orientation sessions covers academic programs, classes, how to register, campus life, facilities, resources, housing, financial aid, services, expectations and the community.
By the time the last session is over on June 25, the campus will have welcomed over 800 guests to the campus, including over 450 new students.
Lock Haven University is a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), the largest provider of higher education in the commonwealth. Its 14 universities offer more than 250 degree and certificate programs in more than 120 areas of study. Nearly 405,000 system alumni live and work in Pennsylvania.
