Mondello Calls for Investigation of Governor's Use of State Resources,

ALBANY, NY (07/01/2007)(readMedia)-- Published reports which indicate Governor Spitzer used taxpayer funded state aircraft to attend fundraisers and blatantly political events demand further investigation by the appropriate authorities.

During this past week, Governor Spitzer misused thousands of taxpayer dollars by using state aircraft to travel to various locations for the sole purpose of continuing his endless political crusade against duly elected Senate Republicans.

Throughout the first six months of his tenure, Governor Spitzer has presided over one of the most hypocritical, politically motivated administrations in recent memory.

New York Republican State Committee will be foiling the Governor’s travel records and submitting them to the appropriate authorities to determine the extent of the misuse of taxpayer funded state resources for political purposes.
