Mondello: Rudy Giuilani's New York Endorsement Swing a Tremendous Success

Trip Will Provide a Boost for Giuliani, Republican Party in New York

ALBANY, NY (05/23/2007)(readMedia)-- New York Republican State Chairman Joseph N. Mondello and Presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani recently completed an endorsement swing of four cities in two days to accept endorsements from Republicans across New York State.

"During the previous two days, we saw an overwhelming outpouring of energy and support for Rudy Giuliani and his candidacy," said Chairman Mondello. "Given his character, stance on the issues, experience in getting the job done and support from the American people, I am confident that he will be the next President of the United States."

Beginning in New York City on Monday, the city that seemed ungovernable before Mayor Giuliani took the reins, Chairman Mondello announced that the State Republican Party was strongly endorsing Mayor Giuliani.

On Tuesday, cheering crowds of supporters, grassroots activists and elected officials from the local, state and national levels in Syracuse, Albany and Buffalo greeted Rudy Giuliani, as more Republicans added their endorsement for "America's Mayor."

"I was proud to travel with Mayor Giuliani and stand by his side, as he talked about the real issues facing New Yorkers and his ideas to get real results for this state and nation. His energy and drive will help in our ongoing efforts to rejuvenate New York's Republican Party, and we will continue to work tirelessly to rebuild our party and send Rudy Giuliani to the White House," concluded Chairman Mondello.
