Montalvo-Mosso receives Russell Award for Excellence in Biological Research

Arlet Montalvo-Mosso is the recipient of Lawrence University's Howard and Helen Russell Award for Excellence in Biological Research. It recognizes excellence in biological research at the college.

The award was established by family and friends of the Russells. Members of the Russell family have been strong supporters of liberal education and Lawrence University; Howard and Helen Russell are grandparents of Beth De Stasio '83, professor of biology and Raymond H. Herzog Professor of Science, whose husband, Bart De Stasio '82, is also a professor of biology. This year the award is given in honor of Beth De Stasio's father, Roger Schoenfeld.
