Moore's Chloe Hull earns two accounting scholarships at East Central University

Chloe Hull, of Moore, was the recipient of the Mike and Leslie Dicus Memorial Accounting Scholarship and the BKD Accounting Education Fund Scholarship during East Central University's recent Harland C. Stonecipher School of Business Scholarship and Awards Banquet. The Mike and Leslie Dicus Scholarship is awarded to students who are majoring in accounting. Preference is given to graduates of Ada-area high schools and graduate accounting students may also be recipients. This scholarship was established by the friends and family of Mike and Leslie after their untimely deaths within a year of each other. It is maintained by a yearly golf tournament in their memory. With the BKD Faculty Salary Endowment, scholarships are provided to accounting students and any other programs designated by BKD, LLP. Donations to this fund have been made available by the BKD Faculty Salary Endowment and annual gifts from BKD partners and employees. Pictured with Hull are Wendell Godwin, dean of ECU's Stonecipher School of Business, and Ann and Jim Dicus. Mike was Jim and Ann's son and Leslie was their daughter-in law.
