More than 60 institutions expected for Northeast Indiana Regional College Fair

ANGOLA (03/01/2018) More than 60 colleges, universities and organizations are expected to take part in the 2018 Northeast Indiana Regional College Fair, which will take place Trine University from 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 7.

Representatives will gather on the concourse of Trine's new state-of-the-art MTI Center to provide information about resources and programs to potential college students and parents. The event is free and open to the public.

Colleges, universities and schools already planning to participate include: Adrian College, Anderson University, Ball State, Bluffton University, Central Michigan University, Cottey College, Defiance College, Franklin College, Glen Oaks Community College, Goshen College, Grace College, Great Lakes Christian College, Heidelberg University, Holy Cross College, Hope College, Huntington University, International Business College, Indiana State University, Indiana Tech, IU Fort Wayne, IUPUI, IU South Bend, Indiana Wesleyan University, Ivy Tech Community College, Lake Michigan College, Manchester University, Marian University, Mount St. Joseph University, Northern Illinois University, Northwest State Community College, Nova Southeastern University, Ohio Northern University, Olivet College, Purdue University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Saginaw Valley State University, Saint Mary of the Woods College, Saint Mary's College, The Salon Professional Academy, The School of Advertising Art, Southwestern Michigan College, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Spring Arbor University, University of Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati College of Education, Criminal Justice & Human Services, University of Evansville, University of Indianapolis, University of Northwestern Ohio, University of Saint Francis, University of Toledo, Valparaiso University, Vincennes University and Wabash College.

The Indiana National Guard, Questa Foundation for Education, US Air Force Academy and US Merchant Marine Academy also plan to have representatives at the event.

Students may register in advance at gotocollegefairs.com. After registering on the site, students will receive a barcode they can print out or share on their smartphone with admissions representatives instead of filling out multiple college inquiry forms.

The event also will include sessions conducted by representatives from Trine's Financial Aid Office on completing the FAFSA and college financial aid at 6:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Concessions will be available during from Storm's Fast Break.
