More than 60 institutions expected for Potawatomi Great Lakes Regional College Fair

ANGOLA (09/26/2018) More than 60 colleges, universities and organizations are expected to take part in the 2018 Potawatomi Great Lakes Regional College Fair, which will take place at Trine University from 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1.

Representatives will gather on the concourse of Trine's new state-of-the-art MTI Center to provide information about resources and programs to potential college students and parents. The event is free and open to the public.

Colleges, universities and schools already planning to participate include: Adrian College, Albion College, Anderson University, Ball State University, Bluffton University, Central Michigan University, Concordia University Chicago, Cornerstone University Ann Arbor, Cottey College, Defiance College, Earlham College, Ferris State College, Franklin College, Glen Oaks Community College, Goshen College, Grace College, Great Lakes Christian College, Heidelberg University, Holy Cross College, Huntington University, Indiana Tech, Indiana State University, Indiana University, IUPUI, Indiana University South Bend, Indiana Wesleyan University, International Business College, Manchester University, Marian University, The Modern College of Design (formerly School of Advertising Art), Northwest State Community College, Ohio Northern University, Purdue University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Saginaw Valley State University, Siena Heights University, Saint Mary's College, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Spring Arbor University, Tiffin University, Trine University, Universal Technical Institute, University of Evansville, University of Indianapolis, University of Michigan Dearborn, University of Michigan Flint, University of Northwestern Ohio, University of Saint Francis, University of Toledo, Valparaiso University, Vincennes University and Wabash College.

The Indiana Army National Guard and INvestEd college funding also plan to have representatives at the event.

Students may register in advance at gotocollegefairs.com. After registering on the site, students will receive a barcode they can print out or share on their smartphone with admissions representatives instead of filling out multiple college inquiry forms.

The event also will include sessions conducted by representatives from Trine's Financial Aid Office on completing the FAFSA and college financial aid at 6:15 p.m. and 7 p.m. Concessions will be available from Storm's Fast Break.
