Mother-Daughter Look-A-Likes Impress at the Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (09/06/2019) (readMedia)-- Twenty-nine teams from across the Midwest competed in the Mother-Daughter Look-alike contest judged Sunday, August 18, at the 2019 Iowa State Fair.

First place was awarded to Clara Formaro and Charlene Bowen of Des Moines. Second place went to Bree and Quinn Cooper of Urbandale. Tamare Alexander and Bailey Finken of Harvey received third place.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. First prize was awarded $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
