Mother Daughter Look-alikes Impress at the Iowa State Fair

DES MOINES, IA (08/23/2017) (readMedia)-- Over twenty entrants from across the Midwest competed in the Mother-Daughter Look-alike contest judged Sunday, August 20 at the 2017 Iowa State Fair.

First place was awarded to Missy and Katie Seivert of Granger. Second place went to Emily Hodison and Madison Harjes of Berwick. Kaylene DeVries and Kimberly Kruger both of Prairie City received third place.

The contest was part of "Rural Americana Olde Tyme Competitions" in Farm Bureau Pioneer Hall. First prize was awarded $5 and ribbons were awarded to each class.
