Lottery Harley Davidson Winner Daniel Sullivan with his Fatboy at Buffalo Harley Davidson in Amherst

BUFFALO, NY (04/21/2010)(readMedia)-- Forty-three-year-old Daniel Sullivan of Buffalo, Erie County, is a big time Harley Davidson fan. On Saturday, April 10th, when he stopped at the store to pick up some coffee creamer for his mother he saw the New York Lottery's Harley Davidson instant ticket and had to try his luck. The decision paid off. Sullivan instantly won one of ten brand new Harley Davidson "Fatboy" motorcycles.

"I actually just finished building my own Harley in my garage, but thought it would be cool to try and win another one," said the carpenter for Schuster Construction. "When I saw the motorcycle symbol on the card I just froze. I couldn't believe I could be that lucky!"

The Lottery's Harley Davidson ticket went on sale February 2, 2010. The ticket offers players a chance to win cash prizes ranging from $5 up to $1,000,000 or one of ten "Fat Boy" Harley Davidson motorcycles. A related on-line second chance drawing allows players with non-winning tickets to enter a special sweepstakes for five more chances to win a "Fat Boy" Harley Davidson and other merchandise prizes. More information on the second chance sweepstakes is available at https://newyork.secondchancebonuszone.com/harley-davidson/.

"As soon as I scratched it I knew I won the bike but still couldn't believe it. I had to show it to my sister to convince me it was real. She confirmed it and then the excitement really sank in," Sullivan said.

Sullivan bought his winning ticket at Ronzo Enterprises on Starin Avenue in Buffalo. His automatic win gave him the option to collect the "Fatboy" motorcycle or its cash value equivalent. "Honestly the thought of taking the cash never crossed my mind. I was all about taking the bike," he explained.

Now that he has two Harleys, Sullivan has a choice to make. "I think I'll give the 'old' one to my girlfriend and I'll be the one riding the new one. And believe me, we'll be riding those bikes as much as humanly possible!"

Sullivan's "Fatboy" will be provided by Buffalo Harley Davidson on Bailey Avenue in Amherst.
