Murray Stoffa Receives Ripon College "Sarge" Peters Award

RIPON, WI (05/06/2010)(readMedia)--  Murray Stoffa, a first-year majoring in Spanish from River Falls, Wis., was named the recipient of the 2010 "Sarge" Peters Award during a ceremony held April 21, 2010 at Ripon College.

 The "Sarge" Peters Award recognizes a first-year student with a demonstrated level of academic performance and a desire to continue at Ripon and in ROTC. The award, given in memory of Master Sergeant Arthur Peters, includes credit toward tuition.

 Stoffa is the son of Col. and Mrs. Donald Stoffa of River Falls, Wis.
