Mutton Bustin' Boys and Girls Compete for Blue Ribbons in Iowa State Fair Contest

DES MOINES, IA (08/20/2018) (readMedia)-- Young Iowans geared up for the Mutton Bustin' competition judged Friday August 17, at the 2018 Iowa State Fair. Five rounds of competition took place in the Pioneer Livestock Pavilion culminating in the Championship Rounds at the end of the day.

In the five and under division finals, Corbin Thomas of Garden Grove claimed first place. Second place was awarded to Giva Rowe of Madrid.

In the six to eight-year-old division finals, Logan Parworth of Muskego, WI won first place and Roland Meldel of Waukon claimed second place.
