NCC to Hold Chef-in-Resident Cooking Demonstration

Corporate Executive Chef Jenny Moyer Murphy will prepare farm-to-fork dishes

BETHLEHEM, PA (10/17/2018) Jenny Moyer Murphy, Corporate Executive Chef from Clemens Food Group, will prepare farm-to-fork dishes at Northampton Community College (NCC) at a Robert C. Wood Chef-in-Residence cooking demonstration on Monday, October 29, 6:00 p.m., at Lipkin Theatre, Kopecek Hall, Bethlehem Campus, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Township. Admission is free.

Audience members will taste the dishes and receive recipes. The menu will include:

Chorizo Lettuce wraps finished with Queso Fresco and Avocado Crema

South Philly Eggroll with Roasted Red Pepper Coulis

Beer BBQ Pulled Pork on Mini Cheddar Biscuits

Bacon Chips with Cannoli Dip

Murphy received her associate of arts degree from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College and has held Executive Chef positions in the Philadelphia area as well as owning a farm to fork restaurant.

Sodexo, formerly Wood Dining Services, established the Chef-in-Residence Program to enhance instruction for students enrolled in the culinary arts and hotel/restaurant management programs at NCC. Each semester an accomplished chef spends two days on campus, conducting a cooking demonstration for students and the public before working with students to prepare and serve a gourmet dinner at NCC's Hampton Winds Restaurant.
