NY Department of State, Mayor Duffy to Announce Water Grants for Rochester

ROCHESTER, NY (02/16/2010)(readMedia)-- New York Secretary of State Lorraine Cortés-Vázquez will join Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy and other local officials and community groups at Staybridge Suites Hotel at Brooks Landing on Friday, February 19, at 9:30 a.m. to announce the multiple Environmental Protection Fund grants the Department of State recently awarded the region.

These awards will focus on the partnership between the Department of State and the city of Rochester to increase economic development and recreational opportunities in the area, especially at the rapidly developing Port of Rochester and along the Genesee River.
