NYSRPA and WCFOA endorse Rob Astorino for Governor

ALBANY, NY (03/18/2014)(readMedia)-- The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Political Victory Fund and Westchester County Firearm Owners Association endorse Rob Astorino for Governor.

"Andrew Cuomo has demonstrated complete contempt for our civil rights," said NYSRPA President Tom King. "He exploited the mentally ill and disabled for cheap political gain with his so-called SAFE Act. He absolutely refuses to acknowledge firearms for self-defense and feels it is more important to reward rapists, thieves and murderers with a taxpayer-funded college education than it is to ensure ordinary citizens have the most effective means to protect themselves from those very same violent people."

WCFOA President Scott Sommavilla added, "Through our voter education efforts were we were able to elect Astorino twice as County Executive. He understands our issues and we believe gun owners will be able to work with him in Albany when he is elected Governor."
