Cuomo himself signed guns in schools bill into law

ALBANY, NY (10/30/2014)(readMedia)-- The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association would like to comment on the recent political mailers by the Cuomo campaign which attack Rob Astorino for supporting "bringing guns into schools and teaching students to shoot."

On August 1, 2012, Governor Cuomo signed bill A-10204/S-7436 into law. The bill creates an exemption for students to possess and use firearms at schools for the purposes of taking safety and proficiency courses.

In other words, Governor Cuomo is attacking Rob Astorino for supporting Governor Cuomo's own actions.
