Naperville's Danny Loyall named Midwest Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Week

AURORA, IL (04/29/2013)(readMedia)-- Aurora University sophomore Danny Loyall (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central H.S.) was selected as the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending April 28, 2013.
Loyall, an attackman, led Aurora to a 2-0 week with an 18-7 win over Fontbonne University and a 14-3 win over Carthage College that clinched AU's first MLC Championship. In the two games, Loyall tallied 14 points, including a six goal (one assist) effort in the win over Fontbonne. In the win at Carthage, he had three goals and three assists.
On the season, Loyall is second on the team with 44 goals to go along with 21 assists and 23 ground balls.
Next action for the Spartan men's lacrosse team is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1 when they host the College of Mount St. Joseph in the semi-final round of the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Tournament. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m. on Vago Field.
