Nathan Miller wins Trine University scholarship

ANGOLA, IN (06/21/2012)(readMedia)-- Nathan Miller of Sheridan recently was awarded Trine University's Distinguished Scholarship. Trine University's scholarship programs are funded by the generous support of alumni, trustees and friends of the university. The Distinguished Scholarship is awarded to students who show academic excellence and leadership both in and out of the classroom. This scholarship is valued at $12,500 annually.

Miller is a senior at Sheridan High School.

"We are pleased that Nathan has made the decision to become an active part of the community at Trine University. We look forward to his successes and contributions on campus this fall," said Scott Goplin, Trine's vice president of enrollment management.

Trine University, an internationally recognized, private, co-educational, residential institution, offers associate, baccalaureate, and master degrees in programs to students in engineering, mathematics, science, informatics, business, teacher education, communication, criminal justice, golf management, social sciences, and various other fields of study. Trine is a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association and offers 21 varsity sports. Its golf program includes the university-owned 18-hole championship Zollner Golf Course.
