Nazareth Alum Presents, "Growing a Creative Agency in a Shrinking Economy"

ROCHESTER, NY (01/14/2010)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College is proud to welcome Nick Woyciesjes '97 as he talks about his experiences after graduation, his early career as a designer, and founding and managing his own marketing and communications company. The presentation titled, "Growing a Creative Agency in a Shrinking Economy", will take place on Tuesday, February 2 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. in the Medaille Dining Room on the Nazareth College campus. Woyciesjes graduated from Nazareth College with a bachelor's in art. After a brief internship at McElveney and Palozzi Design (M&P), he became a full-time freelancer and later, an employee. After five years he was promoted to senior designer in charge of national clients. In 2002, Woyciesjes left M&P with two partners and founded Mirus Group, a Rochester-based marketing communications agency. Today the company remains highly successful with many local and national clients such as Kodak, Wegmans, Ferro Cosmetics, and Barley Yards Brewing Company.
