ROCHESTER, NY (08/28/2014)(readMedia)-- The Nazareth College 2014 Art Faculty Exhibit, on display at the Nazareth College Arts Center Gallery August 22-September 20, 2014, with an opening reception Friday, September 5 from 5-7 p.m., features ceramics, illustrations, metalwork, paintings, photos, prints, and sculpture by the department's faculty. The faculty exhibit is an annual event that helps support the Arts Center Gallery's educational mission. Gallery hours are: Sunday and Tuesday-Thursday, noon-5pm; Friday-Saturday, noon-8pm. GALAPAGOS: Paintings by Michael Bogin features colorful "modernist-abstraction" paintings from the artist's Galapagos Series-which he has been working on for 12 years-in Nazareth College's Colacino Gallery September 5-October 18, 2014, with an opening reception Friday, September 5 from 5-7 p.m. A professor of art and architecture at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Bogin has previously been on display in the Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition at the Memorial Art Gallery, as well as in numerous exhibitions. The Nazareth College Art Department offers undergraduate programs in studio art, art education, visual communication design, and art history.
