Nazareth Presents The Art of Tea: Traditions From Around the World
ROCHESTER, NY (01/27/2010)(readMedia)-- Nazareth College's Center for International Education is proud to present, The Art of Tea: Traditions from Around the World. Learn about the various tea cultures from across the globe and view tea-ware representing the diverse traditions of China, Japan, Russia, Turkey, Vietnam, England, and Iran. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be on display from March 1 through March 28 in the Lorette Wilmot Library at Nazareth College. An opening reception will be held on March 4 at 4:00 p.m. in the Wilmot Library. The event will feature a tea tasting hosted by Nazareth exchange students Hieu Nguyen of Vietnam, Taro Mawatari of Japan, and Munguntuya Otgonjargal of Mongolia. The students will serve teas from their native countries.
Founded in 1924, Nazareth College is a coeducational college with undergraduate and graduate studies in the liberal arts and sciences and professional programs in health and human services, education, and management. The College is located on 150 scenic acres near Rochester, New York, and currently enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduate and 1,000 graduate students.
