Nevada Farm Exhibits Top Boars in Iowa State Fair Poland China Show
DES MOINES, IA (09/04/2015)(readMedia)-- Vegas Showpigs of Nevada claimed the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Boar banners in the Poland China swine Show judged August 20 at the 2015 Iowa State Fair.
The Champion Gilt banner went to Tim Dee of Baxter. Fee Farms of Ackworth was awarded Reserve Champion Gilt honors.
IXL Breeding Herds of Toledo earned Premier Exhibitor honors. The Premier Exhibitor award is presented to the exhibitor earning the highest point total in individual breeding class competition.
Animals are divided according to farrowing date based on the other animals entered in the competition.
