New Berlin native Liz Radtke named Lake Forest College Athlete of the Week

The senior women's basketball player scored 13 and 21 points respectively in a pair of victories.

LAKE FOREST, IL (12/18/2012)(readMedia)-- Women's basketball player Liz Radtke (New Berlin, Wis./New Berlin West) was named Forester Athlete of the Week on Thursday after helping lead her team to a pair of narrow victories.

Radtke, a senior forward, scored 13 points, pulled down seven rebounds, and added two assists, a steal, and a blocked shot in the Foresters' 88-83 triumph over visiting North Central College on Friday. She was one of six players on the team to score in double figures, despite playing only 18 minutes on the night.

Lake Forest prevailed 79-75 at Beloit College on Tuesday. Radtke led the squad with 21 points and she once again finished with seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block. She shot 7-for-13 from the field in the game.

Radtke leads the 2012-13 Forester with 13.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per contest.

Forester Athletes of the Week are selected by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
