BOSTON, MASS (06/24/2010)(readMedia)-- In early June, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee a Top Safety Pick rating, continuing a trend of Chrysler and Jeep vehicles receiving this prestigious title. In 2010, the Jeep Patriot and Chrysler Sebring also earned Top Safety Pick ratings-Chrysler was responsible for producing 20% of the total IIHS Top Safety Pick award winners in the mid-size SUV class and 12% overall.

Chrysler also reinforced the 2010 Sebring with Electronic Stability Control to support the driver with quick adjustments in traction and steering.
