New Date for SUNY Delhi's Associate Degree Nursing Program Site Review

DELHI, NY (11/09/2011)(readMedia)-- Due to scheduling conflicts, SUNY Delhi has selected a new date for the site review of its associate degree nursing program by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).

The public is invited to meet the visit team and share comments about the program in person at a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, December 7, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Bush Hall, Room 131, on the SUNY Delhi campus.

The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) is responsible for the specialized accreditation of nursing education programs (clinical doctorate, master's degree, baccalaureate degree, Associate degree, diploma, and practical nursing program). The Commission has authority and accountability for carrying out the responsibilities inherent in the application of standards and criteria, accreditation processes, and the affairs, management, policy-making, and general administration of the NLNAC. The NLNAC is nationally recognized as a specialized accrediting agency for both post-secondary and higher degree programs in nursing education. NLNAC accredits all types of post-secondary and higher degree education nursing programs.
