New Market Baker Dominates State Fair Yeast Roll Competition

DES MOINES, IA (08/16/2018) (readMedia)-- Joyce Larson of New Market recorded a clean sweep of the top awards in the King Arthur Flour Yeast Rolls competition, judged Sunday at the 2018 Iowa State Fair.

Larson won First, Second and Third Places Overall and the Sweepstakes award. She also claimed a total of $425 dollars in cash awards.

Luann Sutter of Ankeny earned the Reserve Sweepstakes award.

Entries were judged on flavor, appearance and texture.
