New Student Advisor, Haley Williams, Named to Borough Council

MILLERSVILLE, PA (12/18/2013)(readMedia)-- Millersville University sophomore, Haley Williams, of Toms River, N.J., has recently been named the new student to serve as an advisor to the Millersville Borough Council. Williams will be responsible for communicating between University officials, student senate, other student organizations and the Millersville Borough Council over issues that impact both the Borough and the University. Williams will also assist with the preparation of the University community newsletter.

"I am honored and privileged to be given the opportunity to allow a student's voice and opinions be heard in the borough community," said Williams.

Williams is a government and political affairs major at Millersville University and is on the Millersville women's lacrosse team.

Williams will be sworn in on January 28 and will serve a one-year term.
