New York Lottery Celebrates Halloween with Gargoyles, Ghosts and Seven New Millionaires

NEW YORK, NY (10/28/2010)(readMedia)-- The Lottery is getting in the spirit of Halloween and putting seven of its newest Lottery millionaires in costume to receive their cash prizes. The Lottery's Yolanda Vega and Gretchen Dizer will also be in costume as they present the winners with their monstrous prize checks worth a collective $13,000,000.

Winners to receive a "monstrous" prize check include:

  • A former Lotto winner from Holbrook (Suffolk County) who recently claimed a $1,000,000 Sweet Million prize
  • A maintenance worker from the Bronx who won at least $5,000,000 on the Set for Life instant game
  • A laid off electrician from Brooklyn and his wife who claimed $3,000,000 on the Magnificent Millions scratch off game
  • A Queens office manager who won $1,000,000 on the Super 9s instant game
  • An Oceanside (Nassau County) home health aid who won $1,000,000 on the Stinkin' Rich instant ticket
  • A bagel store employee from Staten Island who won $1,000,000 on the Millionaire Madness instant game; and
  • A Yonkers auto repairman who signed over his $1,000,000 prize on the Welcome Back to Fabulous Las Vegas ticket to his daughter
