New York Secretary of State Cesar Perales to Visit Central New York

Gathering with county executives and municipal leaders to discuss government efficiency, shared services, and land use training grants

SYRACUSE, NY (08/16/2011)(readMedia)-- New York Secretary of State Cesar A. Perales will meet with local leaders from throughout Central New York to discuss how the Department of State can help create thriving and sustainable communities. The meeting at the John H. Mulroy Civic Center on August 17, 2011 in Syracuse is being hosted by Onondaga County Executive Joanne M. Mahoney.

The Secretary of State's remarks will be followed by comments from Deputy Secretary for Local Government Dierdre "Dede" Scozzafava and staff regarding grant opportunities aimed at increasing efficiency in local government.
