New York State Hosts Public Safety Interoperability Symposium
ALBANY, NY (06/29/2009)(readMedia)-- Governor David A. Paterson and the NYS Chief Information Officer/Office for Technology are hosting the first New York State Interoperability Symposium: Focus on Governance.
This two-day comprehensive event will bring together government executives and national subject matter experts to participate in roundtable discussions and breakout sessions to share best practices from other states that have advanced governance within their own borders.
Approximately 250 guests are expected to be in attendance including representatives from each county, state agencies, federal agencies, tribal associations, neighboring contiguous Border States, communication personnel from Canada, and the Statewide Interoperability Program Advisory Council.This conference is supported by grants from the National Governor's Association and the US Department of Homeland Security.
