New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Endorses David Forsythe for State Assembly

TROY, NY (09/27/2010)(readMedia)-- The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, the state's largest and nation's oldest 2nd Amendment advocacy organization, announces the endorsement of David Forsythe for State Assembly in District 118. Our endorsement is based upon his personal background and his actions in defense of gun-owners rights as a St. Lawrence County legislator.

In contrast his opponent, incumbent Assemblywoman Addie Russell, voted for firearms microstamping legislation A-6468C. Completely ignoring the fact that the technology simply does not work, Russell effectively voted to prohibit the sale of all new pistols in New York State.

Gun owners have a clear choice in Assembly District 118. NYSRPA encourages all gun owners to support David Forsythe for State Assembly on November 2.
