New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Names Brian Kolb 2010 "Man of the Year"

TROY, NY (03/03/2011)(readMedia)-- Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb was today awarded the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association (NYSRPA) "Man of the Year" Award in recognition of the historic gains made in last November's elections by the Assembly Republican Conference.

Leader Kolb had previously been recognized on an individual basis as "Legislator of the Year" by NYSRPA for his strong personal advocacy for the second amendment.

NYSRPA feels that the successful partnership with New York's sportsmen and the Republican Conference was a factor in the 2010 election victories. The Republican Conference has been a consistent advocate for the Second Amendment, and under Leader Kolb has successfully initiated a "Sportsmen Outreach" that culminates in an annual event in Albany to raise legislative awareness of New Yorkers' Second Amendment rights.
