New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Urges Gov. Patterson to Sign Schulyer County Hunting Bills

TROY, NY (07/20/2009)(readMedia)-- The State legislature has passed companion bills A-7509 and S-4127 allowing for big game rifle hunting in Schulyer County. The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association thanks Assemblyman Thomas O'Mara and Senator George Winner for sponsoring these bills on behalf of area sportsmen, and we encourage Gov. Paterson to sign this legislation promptly so it will be in effect for hunting season this fall.
