New York resident Emily Loewus serves as production crew member for Connecticut College's 'Three Sisters'

NEW LONDON, CT (12/15/2011)(readMedia)-- Emily Loewus served as makeup crew for the Theater Departments' production of "Three Sisters" in the college's Tansill Theater Nov. 17-20.

Loewus, a freshman at Connecticut College, is a 2011 graduate of Poly Prop Country Day School.

The play, written by Anton Chekhov and adapted by Lanford Wilson, examines the lives of three sisters, one brother and their spouses, lovers, suitors and friends. Set in a rural military outpost during peacetime, the play is about everyday life – and all of the laughter and pain that comes with it.
